Digital Leaders Wales is an independent network for individuals and organisations across Wales who are committed to delivering sustainable and innovative digital transformation. It’s a network for private, public, non-profit and academic sectors and it’s open to everyone.

Over the last year we’ve supported a number of online events in Wales including an online session with Lee Waters where Digital Leaders Wales Chair, Victoria Ford, talked to Lee about the Digital Strategy for Wales.

1. Managing the programme for Wales

Our team are linking up with Digital Leaders HQ to put together the programme for Wales.  We’ve got three main Wales sessions planned for this year plus talks from other organisations and individuals based here in Wales:

  • Monday 20 June at 10am is the National Launch and as part of that you’ll be hearing from our MD Victoria Ford in her role as Chair of Digital Leaders in Wales and Lee Waters, Deputy Minister for Climate Change with responsibility for digital in Wales.
  • Monday 20 June at 2pm is the Wales Annual Lecture.  Wales’ Digital Champion for 2021/22 is Will Carroll, Chief Executive of Monmouthshire Building society. Will is going to be joined by Sarah Williams-Gardner, CEO of FinTech Wales.
  • Bringing us together: Digital Leaders Wales. We’re proud to be sponsoring Digital Leaders Wales’ hybrid event which will be in person at the Senedd and M-SParc on Anglesey – plus the option to join online.

It’s an opportunity for networking and to celebrate digital in Wales.  We’ll be hearing from Lee Waters MS and Rhun ap Iorwerth MS along with a video showcase of the 4 Welsh companies/individuals on this year’s Digital Leaders 100 list.

As partners for Wales we’re hosting post event drinks in Cardiff Bay (a short walk from the Senedd) – And we’d love to see you there – sign up here.

2. Running sessions

  • Digital for Leaders: at Perago we’re passionate about building digital and change capability. As well as working one to one with leaders, communications and change teams, we also run a number of group training sessions on different elements of digital and service design.
  • Digital sustainability and Tech Net Zero – what does it mean to you? Our Strategic Design Director Cory Hughes will be leading this conversation in an online session to discuss what digital sustainability means to you and share ideas to reduce carbon emission within digital and technology.
