Providing digital support for people and organisations

Perago is Latin for ‘to deliver/to execute’ and, as our name suggests, we’re all about delivery. We work with organisations to help them deliver better services through user led service design, digital and technology.  We understand technology, the importance of thinking differently to innovate new solutions and how to work with suppliers, but ultimately, we’re all about people.  That’s why, along with analyse and advise and digital delivery, one of our key service areas is building capability.    

Building capability 

We pride ourselves on an approach that builds your in-house capability alongside our service delivery, so you know that when we work with you, we’ll leave your organisation with better capability as well as better services. We don’t always think of ourselves as a training organisation, but as building capability is key to what we do, we thought it would be helpful to break our offering down so you can learn a little more about what we do: 

Training  

We can provide stand-alone training courses and also build our training into a wider service delivery piece.  Rather than just come in and deliver something for you, we want to work alongside you and build your capability.  Our ‘Introduction to Digital’ and ‘User Centred Service Design’ training can help set context to your transformation and prepare your organisation for digital change – as we did when we were supporting Dwr Cymru Welsh Water with their digital transformation programme.  

We also work with communications teams on managing change from a communications perspective, campaign-based communications and working with digital teams.  These courses range from 2-day courses covering everything about communicating change to 2-hour sessions on specific areas like campaigns and evaluation.  With all our training we work with you to understand what you and your organisation need and tailor our programmes to meet those needs. 

Mentoring and support 

We often get asked where to start with digital transformation.  What’s the first thing you should do or how do you put a plan in place and start delivering?  We know that kick starting your transformation can be hard.  Whether it’s working out where to start with your digital transformation or dealing with blockers and challenges, having someone on hand when you need them to bounce ideas off, take a critical look at your plans and put you on the right track can make all the difference to your digital transformation and the development of your people.   

We often work alongside senior leaders in organisations to support them through their digital transformation journey.  We also work with teams and individuals, building confidence and capability to create digital teams and future leaders. 

Capability reviews 

Whether your team or organisation is newly formed, well established or somewhere in between, an independent view can help you refocus your goals and meet your objectives.  We currently offer two types of capability review: digital and communications. 

Our reviews typically span 5 days and consist of a range of interviews with key stakeholders and team members. We ask the questions that matter and provide recommendations for change. A standard review is carried out over 5 days and is led by one of our directors. We work with teams to make sure their voices are heard, and their knowledge and experience is  reflected in our recommendations. These reviews can really help an organisation focus on the actions needed to create new ways of working and transform digitally. You can read more about the outcomes of one of our communications capability reviews in this blog post.

Our team has extensive, hands-on experience of leading and working on digital transformation programmes.  We know what works and we know the challenges.  We can be that support for you and your teams.  

We love sharing our knowledge and watching teams grow.  We’ve tried to simplify some of the support we offer through standard rates for mentoring, training and capability reviews.
